Tricycle Trike pedal freewheel lock for push along mode

Modified on Fri, 11 Sep, 2020 at 3:31 PM

Many of the kids trikes have 2 modes for the pedal operation

1. Pedals in freewheel mode suitable for small children when you want to push the trike using the parent handle but without the pedals turning.

2. Pedals locked, suitable for older children that will fix the pedals enabling them to pedal the trike.

To enable the freewheel mode push the inner hub fully in and turn right to lock the pedals, the hub should pop out and be on the outside of the wheel casing.

To enable the locked mode push the inner hub fully in and turn left to lock the pedals, the hub should stay fully inside the wheel casing.
